well the pearl street mile came and went and i can say i am pretty pleased with my results. I ran a 5:10.6 so not too bad. I wanted to run 5:10 or better so i guess that is close enough. One thing i will brag about is that after 27 years i have finally beat my dad!!! This is the first time i have beaten my dad in a race in my entire life and I am pretty pumped about that. However we were in two different races so if he was in the same race as me I know he would have been kicking as hard as he could to catch my ass:) My little girl maddy ran the kids 800 meters. What a stud she ran the entire way and finished first out of all three year old girls and second overall in the three year old division losing by only two seconds. She ran a 5:35 which for a girl her age is awesome I couldnt be prouder, the best part was she was all smiles during the race, waving to oma and papa!
